Alicia Marie Massey-Taylor

Alicia Marie Massey Taylor, 35, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth, Youngstown, OH.

Alicia was born in Indianapolis, IN on November 13, 1986, a daughter of Tina (Stewart) Henry and the late Wesley A. Massey, Sr.

She had attended St. John Missionary Full Gospel Baptist Church, United Faith Fellowship Church and Cornerstone Church where she enjoyed singing with the Praise Team.

Alicia attended Meadville High School and Coatsville High School before graduating from West Scranton High School in 2004. She also attended Allied Nursing School. Over the years Alicia was employed by David Jewelers of Meadville, Total Wireless and also as a wedding planner and cosmetologist. She will be remembered as a happy person who enjoyed making others laugh and for her willingness to help others. She will be sadly missed.

Alicia is survived by two daughters Isabella Taylor, Savannah Taylor both of Meadville; mother Tina Henry of Meadville; two brothers Wesley A. Massey, Jr. of Meadville, Micheal Massey of Cochranton; maternal grandfather Dr. Joseph Stewart of NJ; and paternal grandmother Mary Massey of Meadville.

In addition to her father, Alicia was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather William A. Massey, Jr.

Family and friends are invited to call from 6-8 PM on Monday, December 27, 2021 at STEPHEN P. MINZER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, with Pastor Jamey Huselton officiating.
