William "Bill" C. Minetti

William "Bill" C. Minetti, 72, of Meadville, passed away Monday, August 17, 2020, at Rolling Fields Eldercare Community, Conneautville.

Bill was born in Meadville, on August 3, 1948, a son of the late Charles R. and Theresa (Shelatz) Minetti; she survives.

On May 27, 1978 Bill married Judi Yesovitch; she survives.

He was a member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Bill was employed as a carpenter for many years. In his earlier days he was employed by the former PPG and Sanray Corporation. A US veteran, Bill entered the Navy on April 24, 1967 and served his country until his honorable discharge on January 14, 1971. He was the recipient of the National Defense Service Medal. Bill was a 1966 graduate of Linesville High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was extremely skilled in woodworking. His will was strong and his work ethic was even stronger. He loved his family deeply, especially his grandchildren; he will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife, Judi, of 42 years, Bill is survived by three children Jenna E. Miller (William) of Meadville, Chase C. Minetti (Krista) of Saegertown, Caitlin Davidson (Paul) of Brooklyn, NY; six grandchildren Cole, Isaac, Madison and Elizabeth Miller, Adilyn and Gabriella Minetti with another granddaughter due in October; two brothers Paul Minetti (Sherri) of Linesville, Jack Minetti (companion Gene Taormina) of Phoenix, AZ; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Bill was preceded in death by a sister Barbara Carter.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-7 PM on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM. CDC Guidelines will be followed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Friday, at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, with Fr. Jeffrey Lucas, Pastor, officiating.

Bill will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery with Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Judi Minetti c/o the funeral home.
