Victor N. "Sis" Fuller, 96, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of 21146 Shore Dr., Meadville, passed away Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Victor was born in Edinboro, on September 2, 1920 one of eight children of the late Benjamen and Nellie (Gidner) Fuller.

Victor had married Louise McCelland and later Rebecca Edsall.

After 34 years as an educator, Victor retired from Penncrest School District where he taught Health, Physical Education and coached various sports for Saegertown High School. A veteran of WW II, Victor entered the US Coast Guard on July 16, 1942 and served his country honorably until his discharge on November 5, 1945. Most of his service time was spent aboard a landing craft in the Pacific and did House Patrol on the East Coast. He was a graduate of Slippery Rock College. Victor was a sports enthusiast and while in school participated in Golf, Football and Basketball; he followed sports all of his life. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, doing construction projects and golfing daily until his late 70's.

Victor is survived by four children, Lynn Nickerson, Christopher Fuller and his wife Melissa, Victor "Chip" N. Fuller, Jr. and his wife Krista all of Meadville, Sandy Bahurinsky and her husband Zack of Virginia, nine grandchildren Chad Costello, Todd Costello, Ren Nickerson, Grant Nickerson, Claudia Fuller, Nicalette Fuller, Ben Fuller, Rose Fuller, Dillon Bahurinsky, six great grandchildren, Chelsea, Braden, Payton, Alec, Joshua and Jacob Costello, a sister Josephine Lang of FL, two brothers Richard Fuller and his wife Nancy, Joe Fuller and his wife Pat both of Erie, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Beanie, Stan, Neil and Rex Fuller.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 6 from 4-6 at the STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE.

A private family service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp., where Victor will be laid to rest.

In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to The Fuller Family Scholarship, C/O Edinboro University Advancement Office, 210 Meadville St., Edinboro, PA 16444.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
