Todd E. Long

Todd E. Long, 52, of 900 E. St,. Meadville, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

Todd was born in Putnam, CT, on July 25, 1960, a son of Cecile (Vezina) Long and the late Earl Long, Sr.

A trained chef, especially with seafood, Todd had been employed at several fine dining establishments in Boston, MA. After moving to Meadville, he had been employed by the former Pub on the Square as well as the Deer Head Inn. He attended schools in Killingly, CT and culinary school in Colchester, CT, and managed Jay Zees restaurant. He had a great passion for riding, designing and building Harley Davidson motorcycles. His artistic ability was apparent in his drawings, paintings and woodworkings. He was always there for his family and friends. He loved his family dearly, especially his daughters and grandchildren.

Todd is survived by his 'Ol Lady' of 18 years, Amelia 'Millie' Colinear, three daughters Tiffany Long of Conroe, TX, Jacquelyn Long and Cheyenne Long both of Meadville, two grandchildren Peyton James and Bailey Skye both of Conroe, TX and one grandchild on the way, his mother and stepfather Cecile and Richard Barry of Palatka, FL, two brothers Earl 'Butch' Long, Jr. and his wife Susan of Danielson, CT, Michael Long of Conneaut Lake, three sisters Susan Charbonneau of Barnet, VT, Cindy Long, Kathleen Benjdid and her husband Muhammad both of Niantic, CT, several step brothers and step sisters and a special niece Shawna Rose as well as other nieces and nephews.

Todd was preceded in death by his father, Earl Long, Sr. and his loyal, faithful beagle-sheltie mix dog, Kelsey.

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, June 25, 2013, from 7-9, Wednesday, June 26, 2013, from 2-4 and 7-9 and on Thursday, June 27, 2013, from 10-11 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM with Rev. Tonimarie 'Wildflower' Bradley of United Eastern Lenape Nation officiating.

Interment will take place in Denny Cemetery, Hayfield Twp.
