Thomas F. Petrillo

Mr. Thomas F. Petrillo, 91, of 9108 State Hwy 198, Conneautville, formerly of 14549 Harmonsburg Rd., Meadville, passed away Friday, February 24, 2012 at Rolling Fields Nursing Home.
Mr. Petrillo was born in Meadville, on May 26, 1920, the son of the late Gabriel and Margaret (Chipriano) Petrillo.
On June 11, 1942 Thomas married Mary A. Fugagli; she preceded him in death on December 16, 2011.
A member of St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, Thomas attended St. Agatha school in his earlier years.
In 1982, Thomas retired from the former Abex of Meadville after 30 years of service. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he was among the second group of volunteers dispatched from Meadville during WW II. Thomas enjoyed creating pen and ink drawings.
Thomas is survived by a grandson Jesse R. Petrillo of Meadville, a great grandson Colin Petrillo, numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and his wife Mary of 69 years, Thomas was preceded in death by a son Gary L. Petrillo, four brothers Frank, Dominic, Patsy and Samuel Petrillo.
Family and friends are invited to call from 11:00-11:45 on Monday, February 27, 2012, at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Agatha Roman Catholic Church, 353 Pine St., Meadville, at 12:00 Noon on Monday with Fr. Matthew Kujawinski, Pastor of St. Agatha, officiating.
Interment will take place in St. Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
