Sylvia Arlene Reichel

Sylvia Arlene Reichel, 85, of 2104 Old Hickory Grove Rd., Mount Holly, NC, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016, at home.

Sylvia was born in Seneca Twp., on January 22, 1931, a daughter of the late George and Sylvia (McClain) Wilson.

On January 13, 1952 Sylvia married Clair D. Reichel; he survives.

While living in Meadville, she was a member of First Christian Church and while living in Mount Holly, NC, she was a member of Gaston Christian Church.

Sylvia enjoyed being a homemaker and raising her family. She was a 1949 graduate of Saegertown High School. Her hobbies and interests included both flower and vegetable gardening, reading, crocheting and bird watching.

In addition to her husband, Clair, of 64 years, Sylvia is survived by four children Crystal Orr and her husband Gary, Gail Baker, both of Mount Holly, NC, Jeff Reichel and his wife Heather of Meadville, Beth Smith and her husband David of Saegertown, twelve grandchildren Blair Orr and his wife Brianna, Ryan Orr and his wife Jean, Josh Orr, Christopher Baker, Carrie Swartout and her husband Jason, Adam Baker and his wife Amy, Abby Moore, Rebecca Reichel, Jacob Reichel, Bradley Smith and his wife Heather, Heather Smith, Lucas Smith, 13 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, a brother Marlyn Wilson and his wife Dean of Saegertown, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 6-8 PM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 BROAD ST., SAEGERTOWN, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 6, 2016, with Mike Bratten, Sylvia's nephew, officiating.

Sylvia will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
