Sandra E. Roxberry, 74, of 18608 Birch Dr., PO Box 407, Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Meadville Medical Center.

Sandra was born in Union City, on May 14, 1943, a daughter of the late Cecil and Mary (Phelps) Bennett.

On September 21, 1979 Sandra married Howard N. Roxberry; he survives.

She was affiliated with Saegertown United Methodist Church.

A 1961 graduate of Cambridge Springs High School, Sandra began her 30 plus year career with Crawford County in the Dietary Department of the former Crawford County Home before transferring to the Housekeeping Department of Crawford County Care Center. She went on to the Court House where she worked as Switch Board Operator and retired from the Registrar and Recorder's Office. Sandra was very active with the Republican Party and was named as the 2017 Republican Woman of the Year. She was a member of the Northwest Republican Women. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and genealogy as she loved researching her family history. Sandra will be remembered for her serving heart.

In addition to her husband, Howard, of 37 years, Sandra is survived by three daughters Robin Armstead and her husband Darius of Copperas Cove, TX, Angela Foote and her husband Scott of Townville, Katrina McKean and her fiancé Nathan Trout of Meadville, seven grandchildren Amber DiNicola, Matthew Foote, Brianna Bish, Taylor Bish, Shanyna Raymundo, Darius Armstead, Jr., Darrel Armstead, eight great grandchildren, five sisters Jackie Bennett and her companion Dale Zimmerman of Erie, Susan Morehead and her companion Ray Deeter of Meadville, Deborah Ward and her husband Rik of Richmond, TX, Kandy Foote and her husband Victor of Meadville, Lynda Hommel of Texas, two brothers William Bennett, Sr. and his wife Kathy of Townville, Rex Bennett and his wife Janet of Hockley, TX, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by a brother Norman Bennett and a sister Beverly Ansley.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 17, 2017, with Rev. Darrell L. Greenawalt, Pastor of Saegertown United Methodist Church, and Larry Miller, Certified Lay Minister, officiating.

Sandra will be laid to rest in Rootville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Hospital of Erie, 1645 W. 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
