Ruth W. Randall

Ruth W. Randall, 97, of West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Meadville, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021, at Fountain View Assisted Living, West Palm Beach, FL.

Ruth was born in Corry, on December 21, 1923, a daughter of the late Harold and Janie (Kromas) Murray.

On October 18, 1941 Ruth married Homer A. Randall; he preceded her in death on August 18, 1998.

When living in Meadville she was an active member of Meadville Alliance Church where she served as Sunday School Teacher, Youth Sponsor and as a member of Ladies Missionary Fellowship.  She was also a member of Gideon International Auxiliary.

In 1982 Ruth retired as a Pharmacy Technician from the former Meadville City Hospital where she worked for 16 years.  She had previously been employed by the former Shyrock Store.  Ruth was a 1941 graduate of Meadville High School. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting and golfing.

Ruth is survived by a daughter Marilyn Stutzman (Bruce) of West Palm Beach, FL, a son Homer "Chip" Randall, Jr. (Muriel) of S. Easton, MA, five grandchildren Sharon Jochmann (Artie), Ronald Randall (Ramah), Jennifer Hurley (Gerald), Carl Stutzman (Brandi), Randall Stutzman (Jennifer), twelve great grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a sister Evelyn Bickley.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Homer, of 56 years, Ruth was preceded in death by five brothers.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, August 16, from 10–11 AM at Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main Street, Meadville, where Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM, with Rev. Jeff Conley, Pastor, officiating.

Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband, Homer, in Cochranton Cemetery.
