Robert 'Patsy' A. Dick, 89, of 19978 Grange Center Rd., Saegertown, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2014, at home.

Patsy was born at home in Saegertown on November 4, 1924, a son of the late Anthony and Caroline (Holden) Dick.

On November 7, 1953 Patsy married Eleanor L. Johnson; she preceded him in death on January 27, 2006.

On June 25, 1952 Patsy became a member of the Local #66 International Union of Operating Engineers, retiring on December 31, 2012. A WW II veteran, Patsy entered the US Army on April 12, 1943 and served his country honorably until October 27, 1945. He was a recipient of the Good Conduct Medal and the European African Middle Eastern Service Ribbon with Bronze Arrowhead. Patsy enjoyed working outdoors especially mowing his lawn.

Patsy is survived by a step daughter Sandra Lee Shelenberger of Saegertown, three grandsons Doug Shelenberger and his wife Janet of Saegertown, Thomas Shelenberger of Fenton, Richard Shelenberger of Aliquippa, a sister Rita Bernoski and her husband Charles of Saegertown, several great granchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, Eleanor of 52 years, Patsy was preceded in death by a brother Maxwell Dick, three sisters Cecilia Miller and her husband Jack, Mildred Field and her husband Jim, Gertrude Kronenberger and her husband Tom.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2-4 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown where Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 29, 2014, with Rev. Mark Fischer, Pastor of Twelve Apostles Lutheran Church, officiating.

Following Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006, Patsy will be laid to rest next to his wife, Eleanor, in Saegertown Cemetery, Hayfield Twp.
