Robert L. Peterson

Robert L. Peterson, 88, of 1120 Market St., Apt. 611, Meadville, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

Robert was born in Conneaut, OH on May 10, 1925, a son of the late LeRoy Albert and Bertha Adelaide (Whitehead) Peterson.

On June 29, 1952 Robert married Cathleen Rough; she survives.

He was an active member Park Congregational Church, Meadville, where he had served as the financial recorder.

In 1991 Robert retired from the Crawford County Domestic Relation Department where he had been employed as an IV-D Coordinator.

In addition to his wife Cathleen of 60 years Robert is survived by two brothers James Peterson and his wife Helen of Powell, OH, Raymond A. Peterson and his wife Judy of Kissimmee, FL, two devoted sisters-in-law Norma Peterson, Colleen Shartle both of the Crawford County Care Center, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a sister Evelyn Harper, two brothers Clarence and Donald L. Peterson.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, May 30, 2013 from 12:00-2:00 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM with Rev. Gary Brown of Park Congregatinal Church officiating.

Interment will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville.
