Robert "Bob" Lee Hackett, 72, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at AristaCare at Park Avenue. 
Bob was born in New Wilmington, on September 11, 1946, a son of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Knight) Hackett.
On April 21, 1994 Bob married Sonya Hollabaugh; she survives. 
Most of his life, Bob worked as a herdsman in the diary farming industry.  He had also worked at Penn Power.  A veteran of the US Army, Bob served his country honorably during the Vietnam Conflict.  He was a graduate of Jamestown High School.  His hobbies included collecting clocks and toy tractors. 
In addition to his wife, Sonya, of 24 years, Bob is survived by a son Christopher Hackett and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a daughter Michelle Hackett, two sisters Nancy McClimans, Shirley Collins and a step son Walter Peterson, Jr.
Services will be private.
Bob will be laid to rest in Peters Cemetery.
