Ralph L. Hatch

Ralph L. Hatch, 85, of 25666 State St., Saegertown, passed away Monday, October 19, 2015 at home.

Ralph was born in Saratoga, NY on November 26, 1930, a son of the late Leon and Gladys Hatch.

On May 11, 1991 Ralph married Margaret "Peggy" McCaslin; she survives.

After nearly 34 years of service, Ralph retired in 1995 from Advanced Cast Products, formerly known as Meadville Malleable. In his earlier years he had served in the US Army Reserves. He was a member of the Meadville Eagles Club. Ralph loved all animals and he enjoyed following NASCAR, especially Rusty Wallace.

In addition to his wife, Peggy, of 24 years, Ralph is survived by seven children James Hatch, Leon Hatch, both of Phoenix, AZ, Sarah Malcom of Meadville, Diane of Phoenix, AZ, Joyce of New York, Nancy of Oil City, Martha Hatch of Phoenix, AZ, several grandchildren and great grandchildren, three sisters Helen Mancini and her husband Mike of Saratoga Springs, NY, Charlotte Samson of Fennville, MI, Grace Houser of Westville, NY, two sisters in law Carol William Garlick and her husband David of Greenville, Sally Irons and her husband Jim of Saegertown, 2 brothers in law Harry McCaslin and his wife Theresa Hosick and Terry McCaslin and his companion Melvina Jackson both of Meadville, many nieces including Lynita and many nephews including Wayne, Donald, Michael, Clint, Bret, Jeffrey and Terry, Jr.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by a son Daniel Repine, a grandchild, two sisters Irene Hatch and Lois Stephens.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 22, 2015 from 4-6 pm at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held at 6:0 PM with Rev. Richard Haemer officiating.

Ralph will be laid to rest in Rundeltown Cemetery, Conneautville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ralph's memory to Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. 404 Chestnut Street Meadville, PA 16335.

The family would like to thank the aides and staff from Guardian Healthcare, Heartfelt Healthcare and Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care and support that that they received during Ralph's illness.
