Obituary for R. Scott Eves

R. Scott Eves, 69, of North Ridgeville, OH, formerly of Raymond Drive, Meadville, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2019, at home, surrounded by his loving family after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

Scott was born in Meadville, on January 22, 1950, a son of the late Robert A. and Betty J. (Bruce) Eves.

On September 27, 1969 Scott married his high school sweetheart, Kathleen Anselmo; she survives.

Scott was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville, OH and on March 23, 2019 was baptized, received his First Holy Communion and Confirmation into Catholicism.

He graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1967 where he was a member of the Basketball Team, Golf Team, Student Council and Vice President of his Senior Class. Scott attended New Castle Business College and played on their Basketball Team. For many years he was a hard hitting member of Phil's Grill Softball Team. A former member of the Country Club of Meadville, Scott enjoyed playing in the Friday Night Twilight Golf League with his wife Kathy as well as playing golf with the "Gin Boys".
