Norman Ray Haught, 79, of Meadville, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021, at Meadville Medical Center.

Norman was born in Painsville, OH, on August 1, 1942, a son of the late Frederick W. and Dolly Gay (Lancaster) Haught.

On April 27, 1974 Norman married Georgia Katherine Ober; she preceded him in death on October 17, 2018.

Norman was a 1960 graduate of Riverside High School in Painsville, OH. Over the years he had been employed as a laborer, in the dairy farm industry, and as a well tender. He liked working with his hands, especially wood working making shelves, walking canes, and checker board tables. He also enjoyed working on tractors and in his earlier years working on cars.

Norman is survived by two sons Matthew Haught of Meadville, Clayton Haught of Clarks Mills; two grandchildren Austin Haught, Helena Haught; a sister Sandra Braham of Meadville; two brothers Carl Haught (Susan) of Calvett, TX, Wayne Haught (Helen) of Wymer, TX; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife of 44 years, Norman was preceded in death by a daughter Lisa Ann Haught; two brothers Rick Haught and Bernard Haught.

Private services will be held.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
