Nina R. Bell

Nina R. Bell, 94, of 31 N. Park Ave., Meadville, formerly of 7945 Franklin Pike, Meadville, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Nina was born in Scio, OH on December 8, 1918, a daughter of the late Paul and Pearle (McClure) Hendren.

On March 23, 1940 Nina married Kenneth E. Bell; he preceded her in death on September 6, 2011.

She was a long-time member of Grace United Methodist Church, Meadville.

After many years of service, Nina retired from Crawford Central School District where she had been employed as a secretary at Meadville High School. She was a 1936 graduate of Rocky Grove High School. An exceptional cook, Nina enjoyed being a homemaker.

Nina is survived by a son Gene Bell and his wife Sandra, two grandchildren Greg Bell, Michael Bell, four great grandchildren River, Maya, Marcus, Micah, all of Morocco, IN, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Kenneth of 71 years, Nina was preceded in death by two brothers Elmer Hendren, Tom Hendren, three sisters Blanche Feeney, Lyda Blauser and Mary Felmle.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 25, 2013, from 2-5 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM with Rev. Robert Goodnough, Pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, officiating.

Interment will take place in Mumford Cemetery, Fairfield Twp.
