Mona Mae Dahl

Mona Mae Dahl, 79, of 26159 N. Frenchtown Road Guys Mills, passed away Sunday, May 20th, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center.

Mona was born in Meadville, on February 22, 1939, a daughter of the late George and Mildred (Grove)Groover.

On March 23, 1957 Mona married Dana Charles Dahl, Jr.; he survives.

After attending Meadville Schools, Mona worked for the former G. J. Murphy Co. and the former Wolff's Hardware Store, both of Meadville. Her hobbies included crocheting, sewing and camping. Mona was very family oriented, they will cherish her saying "Look at what Dana and I started". She will be remembered for her dedication and love provided to make her house a home.

In addition to her husband Dana of 61 years Mona is survived by five children Dana E. Dahl (Ann) of Afton, VA, Cindy May of Guy Mills, Charles Dahl (Robin) Hartstown, Jeff Dahl (Nancy) of Townville, Scott Dahl (Coleen) of Cochranton, 11 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, a sister Martha Ann Schloeder of St. Marys, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son Roger Allen Dahl, a son-in-law Bert May, two half-brothers Ed Thomas and Dick McCray.

Private calling hours and services will be held at the convenience of family.

Mona will be laid to rest in Kiser Hill Cemetery, East Mead Twp.
