Michael 'Mike' V. Haun

Michael 'Mike' V. Haun, 47, of 16768 Scenic Dr., Meadville, passed away Saturday, March 17th, 2012 at Erie VA Medical Center.
Mike was born in Meadville on February 23, 1965, a son of the late Frank 'Red' A. and Eileen M. (Arnold) Haun.
On October 7, 1997 Mike married Cindy Wood; she survives.
An expert painter, Mike was the owner and operator of M H Painting. Mike took pride in his work and kept busy maintaining the properties of Dave Leveto. He was a graduate of Saegertown High School. A US Army veteran, Mike was a member of VFW Post #2006 as well as American Legion Post #111. He enjoyed canoeing, metal detecting, and following the Pittsburgh Steelers. Mike loved his dog Otis.
In addition to his wife Cindy of 14 years, Mike is survived by a daughter Aimee Harmison, a son Brad McCartney both of Meadville, three granddaughters, Samantha, Megan, Kylie, one grandson James, a sister Holly Madurski of Corry, a brother Thomas H. Haun and his wife Mandy of Meadville and a niece.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a brother Frank A. Haun, Jr.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday from 3:00 - 4:30 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville where A Memorial Service will be held at 4:30.
