Matthew "Eric" Luikart

Matthew "Eric" Luikart, 48, of 11205-4 Hunters Ridge, Meadville, passed away Friday, March 11, 2016, at home.

Eric was born in Meadville, on October 11, 1967, a son of Howard and Kathleen (Jennes) Luikart

On April 1, 2010, Eric married Jenny Sayre; she survives.

Eric had been employed as a mechanic for Street Track "n" Trail of Conneaut Lake as well as Harley Davidson of Erie. He was previously employed by Ernst Conservation Seed for 14 years. He was a 1986 graduate of Saegertown High School. Eric was a avid fan of the Cleveland Browns; he loved riding his Harley Davidson and he enjoyed golfing. He will be sadly missed.

In addition to his wife Jenny, Eric is survived by four children Shawnee Luikart and his wife Susan of Ohio, Kegan Luikart, Kaylee Wetzel, Kody Weaver and his girlfriend Britney Atterbury, all of Meadville, his parents Howard and Kathleen Luikart, a sister Heather Luikart, all of Saegertown, a brother Mike Luikart and his wife Jen of Florida, his father in law and mother in law Larry and Connie Sayre of Clarksburg, WV, several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister Michele "Sheli" Bump.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a future date which will be announced.
