Maryanne Niewiedomski

Maryanne Niewiedomski, 87, of 1132 Belmont Drive, Meadville, passed away Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Crawford County Care Center.

Maryanne was born in Meadville, on March 7, 1930, a daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Kotowski) Niewiedomski.

She was a life long member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Maryanne retired from PNC Bank as a loan officer. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas-Court Columbia #2 and the Associate Sisters of St. Joseph. She graduated from Meadville High School in 1947.

Maryanne is survived by a sister Eleanor Niewiedomski with whom she lived, many cousins including Janusz Kowalewski of Tampa, FL, who was like a brother, his wife Nancy and their daughters Ann E. "Annie" Kowalewski of Washington, DC, Jacqueline A. "Jackie" Kowalewski of Tampa, FL, Joan Reynolds and her husband Russell of West Haven, CT, Christine Czapleski Hohler and her husband Thomas of Pittsburgh, Thomas Czapleski and his wife Michelle of Oviedo, FL and John Czapleski of Destin, FL.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother Theodore J. Niewiedomski, killed in action in July of 1944, during WW II.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 2-4 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a Catholic Daughters of the Americas Service will be held at 2:30 PM and Scripture Service at 3:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:30 on Saturday at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, with Fr. Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Maryanne will be laid to rest in St. Brigid Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Maryanne's name to Seton Catholic School Scholarship Fund, 385 Pine St., Meadville, PA 16335.
