Mary Zuschlag

Mary E. Zuschlag, 71, of 31 N. Park Ave,. Meadville, formerly of 408 Asbury Manor E., Meadville, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Wesbury United Methodist Community.

Mary was born in Geneva, on May 2, 1942, a daughter of the late William Salem and Esther (Swartz) Hellman.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Community Church, Transfer. Mary was a big fan of Elvis. She enjoyed fishing, painting, playing BINGO and writing poetry. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by three children Alice Grinnell of Meadville, Charles Zuschlag of South Carolina, William Zuschlag of La Belle, her former daughter in law Betty of Meadville, four grandchildren Michelle Dow, Joann Hammond, Angela Zuschlag, Jessica Zuschlag, four great grandchildren Damion Frost, Emily Hammond, Jeremiah Crawford, Nevaeh Hirt and her former husband, Robert Zuschlag of Clarks Mills.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren Anastashia Hammond, William Zuschlag and a brother David Hellman.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
