Mary Jane Leonhart

Mary Jane Leonhart, 72, of Radcliff KY., originally from Cambridge Springs, passed away Thursday, January 28th, 2016 at her residence surrounded by family.

Besides her parents, Stella May Claypool Potts and Anthony Nixon Potts, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debra Jean, 2 brothers, William and Raymond Potts and a sister-in-law Florence Potts, all of Cambridge Springs.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, George A. Leonhart of Radcliff, KY, three daughters, Angela S. Leonhart of Radcliff, KY, Denise R. Long and her husband Tim of Vine Grove, KY., Missy A. Yarger and her husband Brent of Austin, TX; four grandchildren, Jeremiah Comenzind, Kyle Comenzind, Leolani Yarger, Cody Yarger and a Great Grandson, Kyler Comenzind. She is also survived by a brother Robert Potts, four sisters, Virginia Potts Cottrell, Patricia “Grump” Humes and her husband George “Sonny” Humes, Sandra Potts Messenger and Kathy Potts Moreau, all of Cambridge Springs, along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Mary was a proud military wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always enjoyed and loved to spend time with her family especially her grand children and her great grandson.

When not spending time with family, Mary enjoyed watching wildlife, especially her birds in the backyard, with a keen eye for those lovely “Red Jay” cardinals so frequent to her feeders. She was an avid collector of dolls and memorabilia and was proud to display those to all her friends and family. Before her illness, she enjoyed trips to Cambridge Springs and other areas in PA to visit her sisters, play cards and board games and just enjoy family visits. She will be truly missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 from 5-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, where Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 4 with Rev. James Callender, Pastor of First Church of God, Cambridge Springs, officiating.

Mary will be laid to rest in Venango Cemetery.
