Margaret "Maggie" Gray

Maggie (Lawyer) Gray, 72, a life long resident of Meadville, passed away Friday, August 16, 2019, at Meadville Medical Center, following a brief illness.

Maggie was born November 3, 1946 in Meadville. She worked for many years at the local Dairy Mart and was a constant presence at Meadville Bulldogs basketball games where she could be seen cheering on her three sons who played there from 1980 – 1989.

While very passionate about the Dallas Cowboys, Maggie's greatest joy was her three boys, the many friends and loved ones she had in Meadville. Her home was open to everyone and there was always room for one more for dinner. She leaves us rich in memories, along with an amazing legacy of love, of laughter and of family.

She is survived by her three children Terry (wife Mendy and daughters Morgan and Sydney), Joey (wife Marci, children Jalen, Justice, Jaida and Jace,) and Duane (wife Karen, children Dante and Evelyn).

Maggie is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Minnie Lawyer and siblings Joyce, Gert, Linda and Deb.

Family and friends are invited to call from 11- 1 on Wednesday, August 21, 2019, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 PM with her son, Duane, officiating.

Maggie will be laid to rest in Greendale Cemetery.
