Linda Lee Casler

Linda Lee Casler, 73, of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2020, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Linda was born in Titusville, on September 11, 1946, the youngest of twelve children of the late Wallace and Daisey (Hunt) Cornell.

On June 8, 1984 Linda married Richard Lee Casler; he predeceased her on July 24, 2018.

Linda was affiliated with Church of the Nazarene.

Having grown up on Gilson Ridge, and attending Titusville schools, Linda lived in Wichita, TX, before moving back to Crawford County. She had served on council of Holland Towers for many years and enjoyed gardening. Linda delighted in being a homemaker and raising not only her children, but also was active in helping to raise her grandchildren. Each one of them was the light of her life. She will be sadly missed.

Linda is survived by three children Robert Schweter (Jennifer) of PA, Amy Schweter Barksdale (Jeffrey) of Meadville, Rev. Kenneth Schweter (Christina) of Kokomo, IN; nine grandchildren Christian Defrancesco, Caleb, Tomera, Ryder, Keiara, Ayden, Malachi, Danielle, and Andrew Schweter; two sisters Patricia Johnson of Corry, Elaine Cornell of Titusville; a brother Robert Cornell (JoAnn) of Meadville, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, and husband, Linda was preceded in death by eight siblings.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 4, 2020 from 11-1 at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM with her son, Rev. Kenneth Schweter, officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Crawford County, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
