Lena E. Sinibaldi,

Lena E. Sinibaldi, 99, of 14714 Park Ave. Ext., Meadville, formerly of 18833 Shippen St., Meadville, passed away Sunday, August 28th, 2011, at Meadville Rehab. & Nursing Center.
Lena was born in Farmington, on March 6, 1912, a daughter of the late Henry and Ida (Wilbur) Rolphf.
In 1928 Lena married Pelino Sinibaldi; he preceded her in death in 1976.
She was a very active member of Calvary Baptist Church, Meadville, where she had previously sung in the choir, volunteered in the nursery and helped with various other church activities.
A dedicated homemaker, Lena took pleasure in raising her family. She enjoyed gardening, reading, attending activities at the Senior Center and quilting. She had lovingly made quilts for each of her children as well as for other family members.
Lena is survived by three daughters Marie 'Mary' D. Sinibaldi, Barbara Gable and her husband Nick, Arlene Sinibaldi-Johnston and her husband Jim all of Meadville, a son John Sinibaldi of Marshalltown, IA, four grandchildren Kary and her husband Tom, Nicky John Gable, Jr., Shiela Marie Gable-Sampson, Jennifer Maria Johnston, six great grandchildren and several nieces.
In addition to her husband Pelino of 48 years, Lena was preceded in death by a daughter Sadie Miller, two sons William Sinibaldi, Angelo Sinibaldi, two brothers and four sisters.
Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 1-3 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville where Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM with Rev. Paul Houseworth, Pastor of Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.
Interment will take place in Venango Cemetery.
