Larry Eugene Overton

Mr. Larry Eugene Overton, 59, of Market Street, Meadville, passed away Saturday, June 12th, 2010 at Meadville Medical Center.
Larry was born in Meadville, on October 6, 1950, a son of the late Edward E. and Sarah Delores (Feltenberger) Overton.
He was a member of St. Johns Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, Meadville.
Over the years Larry did construction work and had been employed by PPG Industries. He attended Meadville High School. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Larry is survived by his step-father Searcy 'Shorty' Caldwell of Meadville who helped raise him, five sisters Emmaline Overton Edwards and her husband Cliff L. of Meadville, Charlotte Overton Lucas and her husband Tim of Perris, CA, Beverly Overton Johnson of Erie, Connie Overton Reed of Meadville, Vivian Deeter and her husband Wayne of Meadville, three brothers Greggory Overton of Palm Bay, FL, Edward E. Overton and his wife Sandra of Meadville, Bruce L. Overton and his wife Maxine of Albion, a daughter, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Overton, Ron Overton and a sister Joyce Overton Carlisle.
A Homecoming Service will be held at St. Johns Full Gospel Missionary Baptist Church, 792 N. Main St., Meadville, at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 19th, 2010 with Bishop Stanley K. Smith, Pastor, officiating.
