Kathryn L. Baumgardner

Kathryn L. Baumgardner, 61, of 16871 Craig Rd., Saegertown, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Kathryn was born in Meadville, on February 24, 1952, a daughter of the late Walter and Jean L. (Hartman) Baumgardner.

She attended Saegertown United Methodist Church.

Kathryn was a 1971 graduate of Saegertown High School. She enjoyed knitting, making crafts and collecting items, especially bells.

Kathryn is survived by a brother James Baumgardner and his wife Karen, a sister Lynn Blasinski both of Meadville, five nieces and nephews Tracy Elmen and her husband Steve, Todd Baumgardner, Jeffrey Blasinski and his wife Angela, Christina Reuschlein and her husband Bill, Gary James and his wife Brandi.

In addition to her parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, John Blasinski.

Family and friends are invited to call from 4-6 on Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM with Pastor Darrell Greenawalt of Saegertown United Methodist Church officiating.
