Janet (Marvin) Grayson

Janet (Marvin) Grayson, 85, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, formerly of 546 Grant St., Saegertown, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014 at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

Janet was born in Saegertown, on January 15, 1929, a daughter of the late William Hugh and M. Kathryn (Sackett) Marvin.

On March 13, 1954 Janet married Robert A. Grayson; he preceded her in death on October, 27, 2011.

She was a member of Saegertown United Methodist Church.

For 20 years Janet was employed in the Billing Department of the former J.C. Penny of Meadville, retiring when the store closed. She was a 1946 graduate of Saegertown High School.

Janet is survived by three sons Jan R. Grayson and his wife Tracy of Saegertown, P. Scott Grayson and his wife Kim of Meadville, John Lewis of California, a step son Richard Grieshaber and his wife Rosa of Erie, a step daughter Roberta Guy of Erie, five grandchildren Samantha Grayson, Heather Grayson, Roger Grayson, Sarah Pinner, Kory Grayson-Frye, several great grandchildren, two brother James Marvin and his wife Bev of Saegertown, David Marvin and his wife June of Greenville, many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Crawford County Care Center for the wonderful care and support given to Janet.
