Jamey Albert Peterson

Jamey Albert Peterson, 37, of 1008 Second St., Meadville, passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at Meadville Medical Center.

Jamey was born in Meadville, on May 10, 1979, a son of Dianne (DeCrapio) Peterson and the late John Wallace Peterson, Sr.

Jamey was employed by C & J Industries as a Mold Specialist. He was previously employed by Elite Roofing and Siding. Jamey attended Meadville schools. He was a member of Vernon Central Hose. Growing up Jamey attended Mumford Chapel with his family. As a boy he excelled at sports and was named MVP of the Geneva Boys Baseball Team. He was a Cub Scout. Jamey enjoyed playing basketball at home with his boys, watching them play football and attending his daughter's dance recitals. He also enjoyed shooting pool, golfing, camping, playing Poker and Texas Hold'em. His happiest times were times spent with his children and family. He will be sadly missed.

Jamey is survived by three children Jordan Peterson, Jacob Peterson, Jasmine Peterson, all of Cambridge Springs, his mother Dianne Peterson of Meadville, a sister Robin L. Burger and her husband John of Conneaut Lake, two brothers John Wallace Peterson, Jr. and his companion Susan Sutton of Cochranton, Joey M. Peterson and his wife Audra of Meadville, his companion Samantha Kaye of Meadville, and her family, twelve nieces and nephews Cody, Alex, Lindsey, Angalynne, Kaylie, John III, Trevor, Ashleigh, Alexis, Anthony, Amaera, Rowen and a great nephew Chase.

In addition to his father, Jamey was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Merle and Veronica Peterson, maternal grandmother Carrie DeCrapio, several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 30, 2016 from 2-5 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday, at 11:00 AM.
