James W. Rogers

James W. Rogers 85, of Meadville,. went to be with his loving wife on September 27, 2018.

James was born on May 29th 1933. On April 29, 1993 he married Dorothy Lee Browning who passed away on August 25th 2017.

He loved to dance and spend time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Febee (Brink) Rogers and a brother Frank Rogers.

James was a veteran of the US Army. He retired after 35 years on the Railroad to spend time doing the things that he loved. He could be found on the golf course on any given day. He would spend his free days making his rounds to all his favorite places.

James is survived by his family; a sister Della (Bish) Rogers of Meadville and a biological son Mark. And also by his children Colette Kalanowski (Wayne) of Cochranton, Renee Leimbach (Larry) of Cincinnati,OH ,Yvonne Reed (companion Ron Komar) of Cochranton, Suzanne Simpson of Franklin, Jeff Williams (companion Darla Lawrence) of Conneaut Lake, Charles Williams (Sue) of Meadville, 12 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. He will forever be in our hearts.
