Grace Victoria Gore, was born December 21, 1947 and passed away on August 19, 2013.

Grace was the eldest daughter of Frank R. Gore and Wilma McDaniel Gore.

She was of the Catholic faith. In her earlier years she had been married to Joseph McCaffrey and Roman Gilson.

She is survived by her mother Wilma Gore Sandoval (Oklahoma City, Ok.); and dearly held and loved companion Patrick Doc' Daugherty of Meadville. She is also survived by three daughters; Mary Ruck of Denver, Co; Rachel Gilson of Denver, Co; Katherine Ann Gilson of Oklahoma City ,Ok. She is also survived by three adored grandchildren; Julian of Denver, Co; Roman of Denver, Co and special granddaughter Rose Victoria Alvarez of Oklahoma City, Ok. In addition she is survived by her two sisters, Alicia L. Bishop Lamb (Thom) of Oklahoma City; Frances R. Smith (John Anselmo), of Meadville, step Brother Sandy J. Sandoval of Los Angeles, Calif., Angeline (Eddie) Herrera of Tucson, Az. She is also survived by two nephews Gregory T. Smith (Jessica) of Meadville; Lionel V. Lopez (Beth) of Princeton, Texas; Nicole Lamb Wise (Russell) of Oklahoma City, Ok. She is also survived by one great nephew (Brandon) and three great nieces (Jessica, Janay, and Jalissa).

She was predeceased by her father Frank R. Gore; step father Adolph M. Sandoval; and stepsister Carla Dale Lopez; grandparents and additional family and friends who are welcoming her home now.

Ancient Egyptians believed that upon death they would be asked two questions and their answers would determine whether they could continue their journey in the afterlife. The first question was, 'Did you bring joy?' The second was, 'Did you find joy?' -Leo Buscaglia.

Grace certainty did bring joy and found joy. She was imaginative and creative and had great flair. She was a member of VFW Post #2006 Auxiliary, an accomplished artist, gourmet cook, antique collector and avid science fiction fan. She loved animals, art and music. She lived in numerous places in her life including Meadville, Tucson, Az., Seattle Washington, New Orleans, Louisiana, Milwaukee Wisconsin but she always considered Meadville, as home.

Grace was loved and held dear in the hearts of all who loved her where her memory will always remain. We acknowledged her faults but loved her good qualities; we loved her sensitive and gentle soul and are sending our prayers, for her to continue her journey.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Interment will take place in Greendale Cemetery, West Mead Twp.
