George Edwin Hirt

George Edwin Hirt, 45, of 438 Fairmont Ave., Meadville, passed away suddenly Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at home.

George was born in Greenville, on March 4, 1972, a son of Doris I. Martin.

Over the years George had been employed by several local restaurants, Lord Corp., The Meadville Tribune and The Erie Times News.

George is survived by two children Brandon Neal of Meadville, Nevaeh Hirt of Venango, six step-children, his mother Doris Newcomer of Meadville, a sister Elaine A. Butler of Springboro, a brother-in-law James Butler, Jr. of Meadville, many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Kerrtown Community Center, 18834 Hope Street, Meadville from 3-7 on Friday, October 27.
