George A. Mottillo

George A. Mottillo, 33, of 182 Boynton St., Meadville, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Erie.

George was born in Meadville, on September 3, 1981, a son of Dominic J. and Georgia (Keppler) Mottillo.

In the spring of 2010 George graduated from Pittsburgh Technical Institute, Pittsburgh. He attended Meadville schools and Foundation Christian School. A huge sports buff, George was an encyclopedia of sports facts. He especially loved following the Pittsbugh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Indians, Ohio State Buckeyes and North Carolina Tar Heels. He used to enjoy bowling, playing softball and shooting pool.

George is survived by his father Dominic J. Mottillo of Meadville, his mother Georgia Keppler of Canton, OH, two brothers Dominic A. Mottillo and his wife Kim of Elizabethtown, Zack J. Mottillo of Meadville, his maternal granny Margaret Keppler of Minerva, OH and a niece Kaydynce Mottillo.

He was preceded in death by his maternal Pa Pa George Keppler and paternal grandparents Anthony and Jean Mottillo.

A Memorial Service will be held at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 5, 2014 with Rev. Joel DiAngi officiating. A time of visitation will follow from 2:30-4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in George's memory to Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home, 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, PA 16335.
