Gaylord L. Reagle, 73, of 20946 Peters Rd., Saegertown, passed away Saturday, January 25, 2014, at home.

Gaylord was born at home in Woodcock Boro, on October 3, 1940, a son of the late Emmett and Irene (Luper) Reagle.

On December 10, 1960 Gaylord married Mary Anne Gray; she survives.

He was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

For the past eleven years, Gaylord was employed as a driver by Universal Wells, Meadville. He had previously been employed by Clair J. Ferry, Inc. of Saegertown, Kebort Construction Co. of Meadville from 1966-2002 and Erie Lackawanna Railroad from 1963-1966. In his earlier years he had done logging with his father and worked at Smittys Gasoline Ally. A US Veteran, Gaylord entered the Navy in October, 1957 and served until his honorable discharge on March 16, 1958. He attended schools in Saegertown and earned his GED while in the military. His hobbies included cutting wood.

In addition to his wife Mary Anne of 53 years, Gaylord is survived by five children Bruce Reagle and his wife Susan of Cochranton, Gail Crum and her husband Joe of Saegertown, Sandra Reagle of Guys Mills, Joseph Ross Reagle of Meadville, Marsha Mead and her husband Mark of Conneautville, six grandchildren, one great grandchild, a sister Myrna Parker and her husband Charles of Guys Mills, four brothers Edward Reagle and his wife Linda of Springboro, James Reagle and his wife Doris of Franklin, KY, Neil Reagle of Saegertown, Keith Reagle and his wife Mary of Hartstown, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Gaylord was preceded in death by a brother Gary Reagle and a sister Cindy Trace.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown.
