Frank P. DiMartino, 85, of Meadville passed away peacefully at Marquette Hospice House on Friday, May 29, 2020.

He was born on on September 10, 1934 in Greensburg, PA.

A veteran, Frank joined the US Army on May 21, 1957 and was honorably discharged on May 15, 1959. He worked for many years in the grocery business in Johnstown, PA prior to moving to Meadville where he continued working in the grocery business.

He was a lifetime member of Elks PBO #219.

On January 31, 1961 he married Sharon Boysza and they had two children, Sheri and Jeffrey.

He was an avid sports fan, especially of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. Frank was also an avid bowler, woodworker, and enjoyed photography. He also enjoyed attending local athletic events.

In addition to his wife, Sharon, Frank is survived by his daughter Sheri Allegretti (Christopher) and their children Zachary (fiance Kellilynn Dickson) and Christopher; his son Jeffrey DiMartino (Denise) and their children Alexandria (Nick), Rebecca, Joseph and Michael. He is further survived by two great grandchildren Caden and Grayson; two sisters Sylvia and Izzy; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Luigi and Mary (Rulli) DiMartino; siblings Ann and Joseph.

The family will not be having any services in light of the current pandemic.
