Frank C. Post

Frank C. Post, 80, of Meadville, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at home.

Frank was born in Chardon, OH, a son of the late John F. and Helen Post.

In March of 1962, Frank married Elizabeth; she preceded him in death in March, 2009.

After being Honorably Discharged from the United States Air Force, Frank returned to the area and worked as a tool and die journeyman for more than 40 years. As a veteran of the USAF, he was a member of American Legion Post #111. In his earlier years he enjoyed fishing and was very involved with the Boy Scouts of America. His family and church were very important to him, and he was devoted to both. He was an active member of the Meadville Alliance Church where he served as Head Deacon and Church Elder. Frank will be remembered as a kind and thoughtful man and a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Frank is survived by three children Frank (Linda) Post Jr., Gordan (Bonnie) Post, Tamie (Leonard) Valeo; nine grandchildren, Adam Dye, Ethan Dye, Jason Post, Aaron Post, Maxwell Post, Zachary Post, Chelsea Mucci, Tyler Valeo, Sydney Valeo; three great grandchildren, Angel Espinoza, Leila Dye, Ryan Dye; two great great grandchildren, Elijah and Isaiah Espinoza; his seven siblings, Kathy, Gary, Walter, Fred, John, Sue, Anne; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Elizabeth, Frank was preceded in death by siblings, John Oliver, Robert, Janet, and Diana.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at Meadville Alliance Church, 660 N. Main St., Meadville, where Funeral services will also be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 9, with Pastor Jeffrey Conley officiating.

Frank will be laid to rest with his wife Elizabeth in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
