Frances Yoder

Frances Yoder, 93, of 11657 Schenenberg Rd., Guys Mills, passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at home.

Frances was born in Davis County, IN, on January 31, 1924, a daughter of the late Jacob and Elizabeth (Graber) Wagler.

On December 12, 1946 Frances married Menno Yoder, son of Peter and Rosa (Graber) Yoder; he preceded her in death on December 17, 1988.

Frances was a homemaker and a member of the Guys Mills Amish Church.

Frances is survived by four children Marvin Yoder and his wife JoEllen of San Pierre, IN, Marilyn Yoder of Guys Mills, Rosemary Yoder Kerris and her husband Paul of Montpelier, OH, Ruth Ann Gingerich and her husband William of Guys Mills, six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, two sisters Mrs. Ellen Stoll of Montgomery, IN, Mrs. Nancy Graber and her husband Joel of Hicksville, OH, a brother in law Amos Schwartz, three sisters in law Mrs. Jane Yoder, Mrs. Margueritte Yoder, Mrs. Frieda Yoder, a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband Menno of 42 years, Frances was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter Mariam and four sisters.

Visitation will be anytime on Friday, and Saturday at the Ben Gingerich residence, 25593 E. Oil Creek Road, Guys Mills. The funeral will be held at the same location on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at 9:30 AM, with Bishop Andy Hostetler officiating.

Frances will be laid to rest in Frenchtown Amish Cemetery.
