Frances M. Yanc

Frances M. Yanc, 92, of 218 Chestnut St., Apt. 315, Meadville, passed away Monday, November 21, 2016, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Frances was born at home in Guys Mills, on June 17, 1924, a daughter of the late Matthew and Julianna (Kavulic) Wybiral.

In January of 1946, Frances married John Yanc; he preceded her in death on February 8, 2002.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Over the years Frances had been employed by the former American Viscose Corp. and Win-Tronics which later became known as National Tel-Tronics, both of Meadville. She was a graduate of the former Randolph East Mead High School. Frances loved reading real-life crime books and watching real-life crime programs on TV. She also liked following golf and the Pittsburgh Pirates on TV. She loved children and treated all of her nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews as her own. She will be remembered as being a most loving wife, aunt and sister.

Frances is survived by a brother Walter Wybiral and his wife Pat of Amirallo, TX, a sister-in-law Melissa Wybiral of Adamsburg, several nieces and nephews including Christina Waid and her husband Larry who was like a daughter to her, their children Karen Moody and her husband Oliver V, Kathy Dell'Antonio and her husband Justin, Stephanie Brenizer and her husband John, their children Lynna and Warren Brenizer, Hunter Dell'Antonio, Brianna and Oliver Moody VI, who were like grandchildren and great grandchildren to her, numerous great nieces and nephews, many great great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her husband John of 56 years, Frances was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Thomas Wybiral, four sisters Mary Huzinec, Margaret Hoegerl, Emily Sexton and Martha Harry.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 4-7 PM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a Scripture Service will be held at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 26, with Fr. Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Frances will be laid to rest next to her husband, John, in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Vernon Twp.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St., or Meadville Public Library, 848 N. Main Street, both in Meadville, PA 16335.
