Estella "Stella" M. Hogue

Estella "Stella" M. Hogue, 92, of 110 McIntyre Rd., Pittsburgh, formerly of Meadville, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016, at John J. Kane Regional Center, Pittsburgh.

Stella was born at home in Saegertown, on October 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Richard and Gertrude (Lenhart) Terrill.

Stella married Victor J. Hogue; he preceded her in death on April 28, 1987.

She was a member of St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, Meadville.

Stella had been employed by the former G.C. Murphy Company and by the former Woolworths Company. She was a member of the Elks Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Stella is survived by three children Faye Hogue of Austin, TX, David Hogue, Sr. of South Bend, IN, Kaye Leuenberger and her husband Robert of Pittsburgh, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Victor.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a Scripture Service will be held at 3:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church, 383 Arch St., Meadville, at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 29, with Fr. Tom Trocchio, Parochial Vicar, officiating.

Stella will be laid to rest next to her husband, Victor, in Brookhouser Cemetery, Saegertown.
