Douglas Peter Mauri

Douglas Peter Mauri, 66, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Meadville Medical Center.

Doug was born in Meadville, on April 6, 1956, a son of the late Robert and Twila (Peters) Mauri.

Doug was an accomplished gardener and craftsman. He was affiliated with CHAPS for many years and was very appreciative of, and devoted to them. He lived for his daughters and loved them dearly; in turn he was loved by everyone. He will be most remembered for his smart sense of humor, as well as his kind and gentle spirit. He will be sadly missed.

Doug is survived by two daughters Sarah A. Mauri (partner Tim Steele) of San Diego, CA, Christina L. Mauri of Presto; two sisters Darla J. King, Cheryl Ferry (Richard) both of Meadville; a brother Reid A. Mauri (Mary Lynn) also of Meadville; his long time buddies Tony and Bruce; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Doug was preceded in death by his step father Thomas Brooks; and a brother in law Kim King.

Per Doug's wishes, private services will be held.
