Dorotha M. Hardway

Dorotha M. Hardway, 82, of 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, passed away Sunday, January 26th, 2014, at Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown.

Dorotha was born in Moundsville, WV on June 21, 1931, a daughter of the late Walter and Mae (South) Long.

In the early 1980s, after more than 30 years of service, Dorotha retired from Camden Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV, where she had been employed as a Certified Nurse Aide. She graduated from high school in Moundsville, WV. She enjoyed gardening, reading and putting together puzzles.

Dorotha is survived by three children Debra K. Baldwin of Centerville, with whom she lived, David Hardway, Karen Oeltjenbruns both of Coolville, OH, six grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister Jean Doyle of Moundsville, WV, a brother Carl Long and his wife Patty of Benwood, WV, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorotha was preceded in death by a daughter Ellen Hardway and a son Kenneth Hardway.

At the familys request there will be no visitation

A Memorial Service will be held at a future date which will be announced.

Memorial contributions may be made to Crawford County Care Center Auxiliary, 20881 State Hwy. 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
