Diane Lynne Walker

Diane Lynne Walker, 62, of Meadville, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024, at Meadville Medical Center.

Diane was born in Meadville, on January 20, 1962, a daughter of the late Bruce Edwin and Rosie Marie (Locke) Nichols.

On August 20, 1981 Diane married Philip C. Walker; he survives.

For the past 25 years, Diane was employed as a Nurse's aide in the Memory Support Unit of Wesbury. An avid Steelers fan, Diane enjoyed gardening, and watching her cooking shows. A woman of faith, her heart was pure and her love for God strong. She was a perfect mother whose world revolved around her children and grandchildren. She was a "mom" to many. She absolutely adored all eight of her grandchildren and was proud of each one. Her sweet smile and warm heart will be sadly missed.

In addition to her husband, Philip, of 42 years, Diane is survived by four children Jessica Burr (Shawn), Deanna Walker both of Meadville, Brian Walker (Nicole) of Guys Mills, Tanya Walker of Meadville; eight beloved grandchildren Aden, Christopher and Justin Burr, Liberty and Laikynn Walker, Kyla Walker, Ava and Jamison Carpin; siblings Allen Jacobs (Joyce) of Atlantic, Bruce Nichols, Rosemarie Nichols both of Meadville; Julie Chimiak (Chip Higgins) of Linesville, Sharon Krider (John) of Meadville, her in laws Marybeth Jacobs of Conneaut Lake, Virginia Kralj (David), Donald Walker, Timothy Walker all of Meadville; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by a brother David Jacobs; in laws Robert Walker (Gene), and Barbara Walker.

Private services will be held at Bethany United Methodist Church with Pastor Kendra Balliet officiating.

Diane will be laid to rest in Rundelltown Cemetery, Conneautville.
