Delores 'Jean' Krzysiak

Delores 'Jean' Krzysiak, 81, of 515 Euclid Ave., Saegertown, passed away Wednesday, February 23rd, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center.
Jean was born in Youngstown, OH on December 21, 1929, a daughter of the late Ike and Esther (Gifford) Lewis.
On November 14, 1953 Jean married Bernard Krzysiak; he preceded her in death on February 1, 1994.
She was a member of St. Bernadettes Roman Catholic Church, Saegertown, and its Altar Rosary Society.
After 25 years of service, Jean retired from Allegheny College, Meadville, where she had been employed as a cook. Born and raised in Youngstown, OH, she attended elementary school and graduated from High School there. Jean enjoyed bird watching, especially from her home porch. She loved cooking for her family, but what she loved most was spending time with her grandchildren.
Jean is survived by four children Gerald T. Krzysiak and his wife Sandy of Toledo, OH, Bonnie Trucco of Pittsburgh, Timothy E. Krzysiak and his wife Christine of Venango, Beth Ann Leighlitner and her husband Mike of Pittsburgh, eight grandchildren Megan Zaccardelli, Alecia Trucco, Ashley Krzysiak, Daniel Leighlitner, Derek Krzysiak, Jake Leighlitner, Tara Krzysiak and Trent Krzysiak.
In addition to her parents and her husband Bernard of 40 years, Jean was preceded in death by a brother Tom Lewis and a son-in-law John Anthony Trucco.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday from 7-9 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, where a scripture service will be conducted at 8:30 PM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Bernadettes Roman Catholic Church, Renner Ave., Saegertown, at 10:00 AM on Saturday, February 26th, with Fr. Raymond Gramata, Pastor, officiating.
Interment will take place in Saegertown Cemetery.
