Deborah 'Debbie' May Worley, 61, of 22241 Cemetery Rd., Venango, passed away, peacefully, at home on Thursday, October 14th, 2010 following a battle with cancer.
Debbie was born in Erie, on August 18, 1949, a daughter of the late Martin William and Catherine (Hess) Huegel.
On August 20, 2005 Debbie married Jeffrey Worley; he survives.
For eight years Debbie had been employed by Campbell Pottery, Cambridge Springs, where she shared a great rapport with her coworkers. She was a 1969 graduate of General McLane High School, Edinboro. Her hobbies included crocheting, hunting, camping, gardening and collecting black bears. She loved her dogs Sassy and Rufus but what she loved most in life was spending time with her grandchildren and sharing their interests.
In addition to her husband Jeffrey of five years, Debbie is survived by three sons Robert Ruhl and his wife Becky of Saegertown, Mark Ruhl and his wife Heather of Venango, James Ruhl and his wife Tennille of Charlotte, NC, five grandchildren William, Jarrott, Ashley, Tory, Hailley, three brothers Martin Huegel and his wife Karen, Gordon Huegel and his wife Mary both of McKean, Ronald Huegel of Albion, a sister Diane Garlick and her husband Bill of Springboro, her mother-in-law Janet Worley of Venango, several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Debbie was preceded in death by a grandson, Joseph Robert Ruhl, a sister Barbara Huegel Sharpe and her father-in-law Russell Worley.
At the familys request there will be no visitation.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2010 at 4:00 PM at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 330 Broad St., Saegertown, PA 16433.
Memorial Contributions may be made to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, PA 16335 or Asera Care Hospice, 1600 Peninsula Dr., Erie, PA 16505.
