David John Prenatt

David John Prenatt, Jr., 52, of 13034 Crestview Ave., Meadville, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Meadville Rehab. & Nursing Center.

David was born in Meadville, on January 23, 1962, a son of Eva Jane (Smock) and the late David John Prenatt, Sr.

On March 26, 1987 David married Connie Sue Clark, she survives.

He was of the Catholic Faith.

Over the years, David had been employed at the Meadville Eagles Club where he worked as both a manager and a cook, C & J Industries, Big Lots, Tech Tool, Keystone, Bi-Lo, Valeskeys and as the night shift manager at Wal-Mart. David attended Meadville Area High School. A member of the U.S. Army Reserves he was also a member of the V.F.W. Post #2006. He was an active member of the Meadville Eagle Club where he had previously served as President. He enjoyed fishing, camping, vegetable and flower gardening. David loved to can the vegetables that he grew. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Connie and his mother Eva both of Meadville, David is survied by 3 daughters Cassandra Prenatt of Erie, Edan Prenatt of Harmonsburg, and Amanda Prenatt of Meadville, three grandchildren Cole Araujo, Alina Kruszewski and Trey Gosnell, and a sister Sue Pompa and her husband Dennis of Meadville.

David was preceded in death by his father.

Services will be announced at a later date.
