David Glynn Cavanah

David 'Dave' Glynn Cavanah, 42, of 232 Walker Dr., Meadville, passed away Thursday, May 2nd, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center.

Dave was born in Manchester, NH, on January 23, 1971, a son of the late David Glynn and Linda (Caswell) Cavanah.

On July 27, 1992 Dave married Colleen F. Doty; she survives.

He was a member of Cornerstone Church of God, Meadville.

Dave received his GED in the state of New Hampshire. He was a member of the Meadville Volunteer Fire Dept. His hobbies included gardening, building model cars and following NASCAR Racing, especially Dale Earnhardt. Dave was a man of great faith who loved Jesus and is now walking alongside his Father. A loving husband, dad, son and brother, he played a big part in the lives of his family. He enjoyed the smile of his wife, the laughter of his children and the gathering of friends and family. Dave is, and always will be, alive in Christ.

In addition to his wife Colleen of 20 years, Dave is survived by five children Kyle R. Cavanah of Meadville, Megan R. Cavanah of Warren, OH, Alexander D. Cavanah, Sarah E. Cavanah, Rebbekagrace N. Cavanah all of Meadville, a sister Cathy E. Cavanah, a half brother Frankie Lombardo both of Manchester, NH, his father and mother-in-law Dennis W. and Carrie L. Doty of Meadville, a sister-in-law Jenna Humes and her husband Keith of Edinboro and a brother-in-law Tyler Doty of Meadville.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, May 6, 2013 at 6:30 PM at Cornerstone Church of God, 18320 Conneaut Lake Rd., Meadville, with Pastor Jamie Huselton officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville.
