Daniel W. Miller

Daniel W. Miller, 73, of 10819 Timbercrest Dr., Apt. 103, Meadville, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2015, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Daniel was born in Meadville, on September 28, 1941, a son of the late Walter and Florence (Horvak) Miller.

He had been married to Constance Lawrence.

Daniel retired from National Tel Tronics where he had been an Engineering Manager for many years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. A 1959 graduate of Meadville High School, Daniel earned his Associates Degree in Tool Design and Tool and Die Making from Alliance Technical College in 1961. He completed additional courses at the University of Kansas, Gannon College and Behrend College. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Daniel was a member of VFW Post #2006, Vernon Central Hose Company and American Legion Post #111. His hobbies including hunting and fishing.

Daniel is survived by two sons Daniel Curt Miller and his wife Joan of Fort Carson, CO, Chad L. Miller and his fiance' BobbiJo Raulerson of Guys Mills, six grandchildren and a niece.

In addition to his parents, Daniel was preceded in death by a brother Thomas Miller.

Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 4-6 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where a Celebration of Life Servcie will be held at 6:00 PM.
