Daniel C. Yoder

Daniel C. Yoder, 42, of Guys Mills, passed away suddenly Saturday, June 27, 2020, at UPMC-Hamot Medical Center, Erie.

Daniel was born in Reedsville, on May 2, 1978, a son of Solomon and Mary Yoder.

On November 12, 1998 Daniel married Lena Hostetler; she survives.

He attended Shalom Mennonite Church, Cochranton.

Daniel was a self employed contractor. He enjoyed both auctioneering and attending auctions. He had a passion for horses.

In addition to his wife, Lena, of 21 years, Daniel is survived by seven children Solomon D., Christ E., Nancy R., Barbara M., Esle N., Laura M., Joel S., all of Guys Mills; his parents Solomon and Mary Yoder of Reedsville; six sisters Katie Hostetler (Simeon) of Reedsville, Barbara Speicher (John) of McClure, Anna Zook, Lizzie Zook (Christian) both of Reedsville, Lovina Zook (Esle) of Milroy, Dorothy Yoder (Christ) of Reedsville; several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother Joel Yoder.

Family and friends are invited to call from 1-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Plainview Gospel Amish Mennonite Church, 29386 Guys Mills Road, Guys Mills, where Funeral Services will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. CDC guidelines will be followed.

Daniel will be laid to rest in Radel Cemetery, Guys Mills.

Arrangements are under the direction of STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE.
