Dana 'Superman' Allyn Bergmann

Dana 'Superman' Allyn Bergmann, 54, of 352 1/2 North St., Meadville, passed away Sunday, March 2nd, 2014 at home.

Dana was born on January 6, 1960, a son of Sally Bergmann and the late Larry Bergmann.

Dana was an active member of the YMCA where he enjoyed riding the exercise bikes and playing basketball. He loved to go shopping, especially for clothes. He equally loved wearing those new clothes. He was a huge fan of the Rocky and Superman movies. He also enjoyed listening to music, especially the Beetles. Dana was happiest when he was socializing, particularly when he was the life of the party or the center of attention. He will be greatly missed.

Dana is survived by his mother Sally Bergmann, two brothers Dave Bergmann and Jeff Bergmann, all of Georgia. He is also survived by his local family, who loved and cared for him dearly for over 17 years, Ed A. Zinz of Meadville, with whom he lived, Molly Fenton of Meadville, Kathy Zinz, Aaryn Kristensen, Mandy Kristensen all of Erie, Jerod Zinz of Meadville, many close friends and fans in the Meadville area.

Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 5, 2014, from 2-6 and also on Thursday, March 6 from 5-7 at Stephen P. Mizner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 404 Chestnut St., Meadville, where Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Dr. Brian Jensen, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
