Cora I. Henry, 71, of Blooming Valley, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021, at home, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

Cora was born in Meadville, on August 10, 1949, a daughter of the late Willis and Frances (Forbes) Heth.

On May 19, 1973, Cora married Richard A. Henry; he survives.

After 27 years of service, Cora retired from Meadville Forge where she spent most of her career in the Forging Department. She attended Saegertown schools and was a member of both Saegertown American Legion #205 and VFW Post #2006. She enjoyed sewing, reading, camping at Tionesta, and doing the daily Tribune crossword puzzles. She loved her animals, especially her dogs.

In addition to her husband, Richard, of 47 years, Cora is survived by two children Greg Henry (Wendy Shultz) of Saegertown, Julie Henry of Meadville; five grandchildren Francesca Boyle of Saegertown, Richard Henry of Meaville, Braydon Henry of Saegertown, Zach Marhoefer, Nicole Marhoefer both of Meadville; three great grandchildren Gabby Gawlinski, Carter Boyle, Demitrus Henry; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Cora was preceded in death by two brothers Bob and George Heth.

Per Cora's wishes, no services will be held.
