Blaine E. Thibault

Blaine E. Thibault, 78, of Meadville, passed away Friday, November 17, 2023, at Soldiers' and Sailors' Home, Erie.

Blaine was born in Meadville, on August 21, 1945, a son of the late Clinton and Orma V. (Cutshall) Thibault.

He graduated from Meadville Area Senior High School in 1963. On January 5, 1966, Blaine enlisted in U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 1969. His working career spanned many endeavors. He was a truck driver, bartender, and most recently worked at Dad’s Dog Food & Pet Products and at Viking Tool & Gage in Conneaut Lake. He was a lifetime member of Elks BPOE #219 where he served two terms as a Trustee. Blaine was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed watching golf.

Survivors include his son Jason (wife Carol); daughter Karrie Luikart (partner Bob Longstreth); grandchildren Blaine and Katie Thibault, Shawnee & Kegan Luikart, Gavin Longstreth; two step grandchildren; and his long time significant other Nancy Bluxome.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Irvin “Bud”; two sisters Betty Ann & Irma.

Family and friends are invited to call from 5-7 PM on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 404 CHESTNUT ST., MEADVILLE, where an Elks Service will be held at 6:30 PM and Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, at 11 AM. Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will follow.

Blaine will be laid to rest in Ewing Cemetery, East Mead Twp.
